Confessions of a Toddler

Papa calls on skype now, so mum and me can see him……’live….and in living color.’   Mum and me love that very much.  When i hear the skype bell  ring, i  immediately say……”papa”

Before papa came home for my 3rd birthday a week ago, i would say ….papa when the phone rings or the skype  bell rings….i was learning who papa was………there is only one papa!

Yesterday, i talked more on the real phone when he called too!  I told him  i love him, i miss him and told him about  my toys and said bye papa.  Sometimes it is hard to understand my conversation, but papa gets the good stuff out of it!

papa is always silly on the skype….he is like a kid sometimes!  It is good to be an adult kid, especially since papa has to work so hard with adults all day long!

i kiss the monitor to give papa a kiss, but when papa sees it, it is the  top of my head, cuz i should be kissing the camera that is on top of the monitor!

Yes, and it is a big deal, cuz papa bought them for me.  I only see him every two or so months, so anything about papa and me is worth sharing!  He got me and mum new shoes, in California!  He got himself new shoes in Texas!

Mum and me love our new shoes!  Mum hopes i fit them for a long time!

They are outside shoes, but i wear them in the pool too…..til mum tells me to take them off!  Mum  thinks these are the coolest shoes…..i do too, and they are velcro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These pics are of me and my fave thing  to do with water,  fill my sprinkling can and water mums plants!

Yep, still  love to line up my vehicles!…Mum wonders what it all  means?  Does it mean i am organized?

I am wearing my special  t shirt papa got me long time ago….Don”t Mess with  Texas!….If only they had one that said, DO NOT mess with Jake…it  be perfect!

Not lining them up this time, i am piling it up! ….even my sandals!

Yes, nap time,  is quiet time…and sometimes it is with kaley corgi…There is always enough room for us to nap together!

I bet this is the only time, kaley corgi trusts me to not bother her!

papa has to go back to work in Texas, and mum and me live in California!  He got to stay for my third birthday and ten days of  calif rest, relax, play with jake, be with mum…and work on work stuff.

he looks so sad to leave us, even if you can not see his face.

Just me and mum on the train…. Mum wanted to go shop a lil before going home, so we went back direction of home and got off one stop ahead………….it was the wrong stop, so  we ha to wait another hour to get to the next stop, that was only 2 minutes way by train. Mum did not want to walk and it was so cold.

ready to get off, and i am good at holding on to the railing….long day, good to go home, but too bad,  papa not coming home with us…..mum and me sent him off to texas…

Papa  was here for ten days…. but it was wonderful ten days….papa every day….  he hugged me lots,cuz i would climb up to his lap…He is a good hugger person!  Mum taught him well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he looks sad, huh???….but i think he is just relaxing and thinking, and mum   has to take pics fast or i move.

jake  r doodle dandy kisses …..to  my papa, who i miss very much!…He is back in HOT texas, but he has to work hard there!….Papa says, maybe we can come and visit him soon….when it cools off some….  i hope soon comes soon!

I love to eat and mum cooked for first time for papa and me special dinner ….she knows how to cook but she lets papa cook all the time.  This time, when papa was home, she cooked  twice, papa’s favorite Chinese dish,  chicken with black bean sauce….and beef with broccoli!

chicken with black  bean sauce…i kept going back in the kitchen to get more chicken…ever since i  was  eating solid food, i love black  bean sauce…i  bet papa  remembers when i was in the baby carrier and at the restaurant and i kept wanting black bean sauce with asparagus, and chicken…..in milpitas  restaurant!….he liked that restaurant!

broccoli with beef….and  brown jasmine rice…mum loves rice, but she loves brown rice better!…papa does too!

papa cooked this meal, a very big ham so mum and i would have plenty of food when he is gone back to texas….i love the mac and cheese, he baked it, with velvetta, and  there is  velvetta slices left……..i love cheese.  I go to the refrigerator  every day to get  a slice, or two, or  three!!!!!!!

meal time, and we watch a movie together….we share the small table and kaley corgi gets whatever falls to the ground!

i am a confirmed left hander  kid!

i have it all covered,  a  fork on one end, a spoon on the other!…and a knife  cut edge on the fork end! Ever since i was much younger, i loved this utensil, even if i was just gathering them up to play with them…..cuz i only started to feed myself at bout,  35 months old!

i guess, i should sit closer to the table, cuz kaley is sooo close to what falls ….and i am not the most coordinated yet, feeding myself.

jake r doodle dandy smiles!!!!!!!..miss my papa very much….when he was here for  ten days, i would wake and run to the apartment next door and find him….i  push him off his chair, grab his hand and pull him back to where mum is, the other apartment.   Mum  runs after me for i escape  from the main apartment, and i take her hand back too…………papa says, i am  a herding  kid!…..did i learn that from kaley corgi?????

Birthday over, cake all gone,  and it is back to playtime  when i am up….unless watching a dvd!

i do not use my pedals, but i sure can use my feet to go fast on the driveway!

this is my ball….but kaley corgi likes it too!  She does not use her hands, she uses her paw and teeth!  i am not sure i like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
